The Lion of Venice 300-200 BCE

The Lion of Venice is an ancient Pagan idol adopted by the Venetians in the Middle Ages. Dating of the statue puts it to 300-200 BCE and is thought to be either part of a dedication to deities Ishtar or Sandor, or could be a dedication to Greek troops of Alexander's Campaign. Source below.
