Silver bowl of 'Dhenakk, the son of xwn (Hun)' 5th-7th C. CE

Silver bowl with inscription, in Sogdian, saying 'Dhenakk, the son of xwn (Hun)' 5th-7th C. CE. Hermitage Museum. Note the Hephthalite (White Hun) right-pointing triangular dress and hairstyle. Source for inscription: Etsuko Kageyama, 'Change of suspension systems of daggers and swords in eastern Eurasia: Its relation to the Hephthalite occupation of Central Asia'. Y. Yoshida argues that this bowl was commissioned by a Sogdian nobleman when Sogdiana was already under Hephthalite rule.

Depiction of Herakles with club on right?

This possibly depicts a scene from the Greek story of Herakles and the Erymanthian Boar. Though the man with a sword doesn't look like Hermes, the image on his bowl is reminiscent of the one on the Greek jug to the left where Hermes assists Herakles in his quest.
